Confidence Builder (kids L1/2 and L3/4)

This stage is intended to get kids familiar with water, understand the basics of kicking and paddling, and learn basic rescue and safety techniques.

LEVEL 1

Swimmers enter the kids program at this level. The main focus is learning basic body position, gliding, kicking and having fun.


LEVEL 2

Swimmers are progressing with their streamlining, kicking and learning to back float.


LEVEL 3

Swimmers at this level are becoming stronger at kicking on front and back as well as learning to paddle with their hands.



LEVEL 4

Swimmers at this level are mastering propulsion on their backs, their freestyle arms and learning underwater skills.


Skill Seeker (kids L5/6 and L7/8)

Now that kids are comfortable in the water with kicking, paddling and floating, we’re starting to introduce more refined techniques and breathing positions as well as more advanced safety skills.

LEVEL 5

Swimmers at this level are learning backstroke, freestyle breathing and starting to glide on their back.


LEVEL 6

Swimmers at this level are learning freestyle with a board, dolphin kicking and the basics of a race start.


LEVEL 7

Swimmers at this level are learning backstroke with continuous arms, freestyle race starts, lateral kicking and treading water.



LEVEL 8

Swimmers at this level are learning a backstroke race start and improving their freestyle and treading of water.


Skill Perfector (kids L9/10)

We’ve got the basics of freestyle and backstroke down! Now it’s time to extend our endurance and perfect our breathing. We also introduce breaststroke, butterfly and life-saving backstroke.

LEVEL 9 

Swimmers at this level are honing their breaststroke kick and extending their distances for backstroke and freestyle. They begin to master the intricacies of freestyle starts and finishes. 


LEVEL 10

Swimmers at this level are fine-tuning their technique and timing in breaststroke while grasping the fundamentals of butterfly and enhancing their swimming endurance. They also start to refine their backstroke starts and finishes.
